In memory of

Robert "Bobby" Bath

November 5, 1957 -  August 17, 2022

Robert “Bobby” Frederick Bath passed away with family by his side on Wednesday August 17, 2022 at age 64.

Born in Midland, Ontario, Bobby grew up playing hockey and then found a love for boxing. When he was nine years old, one of his boxing matches had a very special referee: The Greatest, Muhammad Ali. As an amateur boxer Bobby would go on to become the Ontario Lightweight Champion, and had a professional career from 1977-1985 with 13 bouts. He remained an avid sports fan throughout his life, with a special affinity for his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs.

Robert spent the majority of his life in Toronto, working in a variety of jobs including the automotive industry. In the mid-90’s, he had his own car dealership which he proudly named AshCor Auto after his children.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children Ashley (Paul) and Cory (Volanta), family, and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his partner Debbie, his mother Dora, and his siblings Tim, Chris, Jackie, and Donald.

Ashley and Cory wish to thank the incredible nurses, doctors, and team at St. Joseph’s Health Centre for their support and care in Robert’s final days.

Visitation to be held at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre (375 Mount Pleasant Rd) at 1:00pm on Saturday August 27, 2022 with memorial service to follow at 2:00pm.
