Bo Yee Kwan passed away peacefully at her home on April 26, 2020. Born in Sunlin, China, she came to Canada in 1953.
Predeceased by her husband Kam Foo Kwan in 2003, she is survived by her children Barry (Wing Way) Quan and his wife Connie, Mabel (Mei Ping) Ing and her husband Harry, Shirley (Mei Sum) Kwan, Walter (Bing Han) Kwan and his wife Lisam and Edward (Bing Jone) Quan and his wife Marie Holland, 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and her supportive sister-in-law Lily Chang.
Bo Yee and her husband owned and operated the Quality Cleaners on Yonge Street, north of Eglinton Avenue, for many years.
A service and burial will be held on Saturday May 2, and due to current pandemic restrictions, the service will be private. Others are welcome to share a memory or photograph on the condolence page. In memory of Bo Yee and in lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
The family is grateful to the caregivers who allowed Bo Yee to remain in the comfort of her home in recent months.
