In memory of

Bertha Leota "Bea" Bishop

March 24, 1930 -  April 28, 2024

It is with a heavy heart, but also with the knowledge of the joy that comes from “a life well lived”. The Bishops would like to announce the passing of our mom, Nana, great-Nana and a friend to many. Our mom Bertha Leota “Bea” Bishop (nee Harvie) passed away early morning this past Sunday April 28, 2024. We feel very fortunate that for the last six years the ladies at Sandalwood residence have been very kind and caring to mom.
Family and Friends will be received at THE SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL CENTRE- MISSISSAUGA 1535 South Gateway Road (at Dixie Road, two lights south of Eglinton) 905-602-1580 on May 11, 2024. There will be a Social Gathering at 10am with a Ceremony of “a Life Well Lived “ in her honour at 11am with small reception following.

Please join us if you are able to celebrate with us, her wonderful life.

In lieu of flowers, donations considered, are asked to be to Alzheimer’s Society or to your favourite cause.

Barb, her daughter Lynn, and Ann all send our condolences to your family at this time. That is a beautiful picture of her. When I fly out to see Barb and Lynn next week we will be sure and drink a toast to Bea and her “Life Well-Lived.” She and Clyde raised a wonderful family and that is the best of legacies!
