Bezat "Peter" Piri, (80) of Toronto Ontario, passed away on December 6, 2022. Bezat was born is Bilisht, Albania, August 30, 1941. Son of Dalip and Aishe.

At the young age of 17, Bezat left his homeland to pursue freedom and opportunities for a better life. After a brief stay in Greece and Belgium he landed in Toronto, Ontario Canada, where he eventually met his wife Joanna and they built a life together through hard work and perseverance to give their sons Rene and Mike better opportunities that they never had themselves.

Bezat loved life. He enjoyed the company of others. Loved his neighbors and respected all people of all walks of life.

He enjoyed many things like music especially Greek and Albanian. He was a huge sports fan especially Toronto Maple Leafs. Win or lose he and his sons believed in true blue.
He worked very hard as a cook for 30 years and made many life long lasting friendships with customers and coworkers.

Bezat is survived by his beloved wife Joanna, his son Rene and wife Anna.
Daughter in law Marilda and predeceased husband Mike.
Granddaughters Cassandra and Alysha who were the loves of his life.

He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law and friend. He had a gentle soul, kind heart, and loved his his family unconditionally.
He will be missed dearly but will always remain close to our hearts.
