I am going to miss seekng you at the table at holidays. In hindsight, your empathy towards others misfortune and emphasis of their best characteristics is something I aspire to carry on in my life. I love you Aunt Bev. I hope to join the party with you and your friends. Walk good.

Heaven has gained a wonderful person. Queen B has been a shining star in my life for over 40 years. You have always been an example of a strong , confident, resilient, beautiful Black woman and you even gave birth to one. Thank you for the love you gave freely, the laughs we shared in and for welcoming my younger self into your home and family. Rest in Power Queen 🖤
