Passed at Revera Winbourne Park Long Term Care Home, Ajax, on Sunday February 12, 2023, in her 89th year with family by her side. Lovingly remembered by her children Brenda (Francis), Bradley (Heather), and Shelley (Bill). Proud Nana of Sarah, Andrew, Kristy (Felix), Justine (Kevin), Kyle (Jennifer), Cameron (Jessica), Kody (Stephanie), Connor (Brianna), and great-grandchildren Elijah, Sequoia, Aiyana, Lucas, Brantley, Tucker, Kole and Ellexi. Betty was born in Stayner and moved to Toronto where she had a successful career at Canadian Locker Company and hosted many family gatherings at her Scarborough home. Betty enjoyed travelling, adventure, listening to music and dancing, gardening and flowers, home-cooked meals, dining out, and most of all she loved spending time with family. She will be missed by many. Private family gathering to take place. Donations in her memory can be made to Dementia Society or Alzheimer’s Society.
