September 26, 1936 -  July 31, 2016

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of Betty on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at the age of 79. She joins her beloved late husband Wayne, brother Bruce, sister Irene and her recently departed siblings John and Mildred. She was the loving Mom of Laurie Anne (John Bass) and the devoted Nanny of Katie (Jeremy Smith) and Sarah. She is sorely missed by her dear sister Margaret, her honorary sister and cousin Mary Jane, many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, friends and her cherished furry foot warmer Abby. All are welcome at MOUNT PLEASANT CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 375 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto, (east gate entrance, north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-485-5572) on Wednesday, August 3 from 5-9 p.m. and on Thursday, August 4 at 1 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 2 p.m. Interment to follow.
