Betty Catherine Haggarty

April 10, 1942 - May 25, 2023

It is with great sadness that the family of Betty Haggarty announces her passing on Thursday May 25, 2023 at the Scarborough General Hospital at the age of 81.

She will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother by her daughter Sherry Lee and her son Guy and his wife Barbara.

Betty was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #258 and The Wexford Hockey Association Women’s Auxiliary. Betty was known for her love of Elvis, Michael Buble and dogs.

A private family service will be held at Pine Hills Cemetery.

Those we love don’t go away. They walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved and missed, and very dear.

Betty was such a beautiful soul, always kind, treated everyone so respectfully. My dog Lexie and I just adored her. I loved hearing about her life and all the things she accomplished. She will be missed by everyone and all the dogs that knew her. My deepest condolences to her children. May she rest in peace. ❤❤
