Betty Bahia Hagopian
January 10, 1941 - March 2, 2025
We are very sad to share that our beloved wife, sister, mother and grandmother Betty Hagopian passed away on March 2, 2025. She leaves Berge Hagopian, her husband of 54 years, three children, Susan, Sylvia and Arthur, and her cherished grandchildren, Olivia, Lara, James, Willem, Remi Belle and Roman.
Betty was born in Beirut, Lebanon, and moved to Canada where she enjoyed a fulfilling career supporting students and faculty at York University. Her commitment to their academic success was celebrated when she was awarded the Voice of York Award. She also was an ESL teacher at Seneca College for many years before she retired.
Betty enjoyed spending summers in Orillia, and every moment loving and spoiling her grandchildren who all miss her dearly. As per her wishes, a private family service will be held on Friday March, 7, 2025.
