In memory of

Bernice De Oliveira

December 23, 1950 -  April 11, 2024

Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Bernice Oliveira, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2024 with her family by her side. Beloved wife to George Oliveira for 46 years. Loving mother to Alex (Alicia Weddle) and Christine Carreiro (Abilio). Cherished Nana to Cassandra, Elyssa, Marcus, George and Amalia. Bernice is survived by her four siblings Peggy, Edward Jr, Pat and Alex.
Bernice was born on December 23, 1950 in her home in Campbellโ€™s Creek, Newfoundland. She moved to Mississauga, Ontario in 1972 and met her soon to be husband (George) in 1973. They married on July 16, 1977. Our mom was the heart of her home and family. She was married for 46 years to our father. Her family was most important especially her children, grandchildren. In her earlier years of marriage, she devoted her time to her husband and children spending her time at hockey with her son, dance with her daughter. She loved to take motorcycle road trips with her husband. Later in life she gained a son in law Abilio and daughter in law Alicia with whom she loved like they were her own. She continued to devote her time to her grandchildren watching their activities and supporting them however she could.

Bernice had a love for baking, flowers, hockey (Montreal Canadians) and baseball. Her famous carrot cake and love for family gatherings highlights a little of who she was. Mom also loved her workplace and friendships she built there as she devoted over 50 years of service for Graham Packaging ltd. Her devotion to her company is a small example of how she was to her friends and loved ones, devoted she was.

Our Mom touched the lives of all she met, and we were all blessed to have had her.

Family and Friends will be received at THE MEADOWVALE FUNERAL CENTRE-BRAMPTON 7732 Mavis Road 905-451-3716 on Monday April 15, 2024 from 4-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday April 16, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Parish, 5440 Durie Rd, Mississauga.

Mom will be deeply missed forever.
