In memory of

Bernard Hui Sr.

September 1, 1937 -  February 3, 2024

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Bernard Yiu Sing Hui on February 3, 2024 at the Mackenzie Health Hospital, Richmond Hill, aged 86 years. Beloved husband of 60 years to Margaret. Devoted father of Irene Lem (Wayne Lem), Bernie Hui (Vivien Hui). He is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Amanda Hui, Jordan Hui, Christian Lem and Jade Lem. He grew up in a large household and will be missed by his three sisters, Kai Lin, the late Kay Sin, Kay Yee and two brothers, Yiu Man and Yiu Yan.

Bernard’s passions included fishing, ping pong, dining with friends and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a man of few words, but was known by most for his love for his family, his gentle and kind spirit, and being a man of high integrity. Bernard attended Scarborough Chinese Baptist Church. He loved his Lord and Savior and we rejoice that he is in His presence now.

In memory of Bernard and in lieu of flowers, donations to one of the charities listed on the Donations page would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Special thanks to the compassionate nurses at Mackenzie Health Hospital.

Feel blessed to have met Uncle Bernard. One of the kindest, gentlest souls I've known. One more angel in heaven, one less angel on earth.

We know Bernard more than 16 years. He is honest, straight forward, doing with his principle; he always express gratitude to God whatever blessings he got.

We have happy time with him in community, playing Tai-chi, Ping Pong and leisure talk.
Bernard, we miss you!
