Our family is sad to announce the death of Bente Ruth Markvorsen (nee Konrad) at the age of 94, surrounded by her family, at Brampton Civic Hospital on Saturday, December 17, 2022. Loving mother of Jill, proud grandmother of Kai (Heather) and Tor (Tasha), great-grandmother of Jaxon, and mother-in-law of Gabbi. Predeceased by her husband, Carl (1999), and son Kim (1989), her brother Esben and sister Gurli. Bente was a devoted homemaker, member of St. Bartholomew’s United Church and for many years active with the United Church Women, becoming a Life Member in 1991. She spent her last years enjoying friendship and care at Southbrook Retirement Residence.
