Bro Thomas was a wonderful man of God and will surely be missed by his church family at Downsview. Rest in the assurance of our soon coming King, when Bro Thomas will join the heavenly chorus and sing through the ceaseless ages to come. God bless our prayers with the family at this time.

Benjamin Thomas lovingly called Bro T. was born on the picturesque island of Grenada. The youngest of 10 children, he spent his boyhood years playing cricket swimming and he particularly enjoyed going to the sea to fish. He loved and cared about people and had a tender spot in his heart for children even though he had none of his own. He loved the Lord and gave his life to Jesus at the young age of 16 and was baptized as a member of the St. Davids Seventh Davids Seventh Day Adventist Church. Because of his patience the church members nicknamed him 'Job" [a patient and faithful Bible character] He was committed to his church . As a Seventh Day Adventist christian, he exemplified what it means to be a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. He faithfully attended the Downsview Seventh Day Adventist church, until illness made it impossible, however he never lost his faith. He was loved by his relative friends and those who got to know him. We all miss him and the sound of his melodious tenor singing praises to God, and wow, that infectious laugh we will never forget.
