With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Bei Jiang 蒋蓓 on July 22, 2026, in North York, Ontario, at the age of 61.

Bei was born on April 8, 1965, in Shanghai, China. In 1994, she and her husband moved to Singapore, where she spent 8 years as a researcher. In 2002, she immigrated to Canada with her family to begin their next chapter.

Bei was a devoted wife and a loving mother. She poured boundless care and warmth into her home, always placing her loved ones at the center of her life. Her kindness made home a place of comfort, and those memories will stay with her family forever.

In her free time, Bei loved cooking, taking peaceful walks, listening to classical music, and exploring new places through travel.

Bei Jiang will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her husband, Jikai Zhang and her daughter, Winnie Yijun Zhang.
