In memory of

Beatrice Elaine Foo

October 4, 1925 -  January 13, 2025

It is with great sadness that the family of Beatrice Foo announce her passing.
She was born and grew up on the West Bank of Demerara, Guyana where she not only cared for her own children but also had an open door to other people who needed a meal and made it a habit to always have food ready in case someone dropped by. She relocated to Canada later in life to be with her children and grandchildren. Beatrice enjoyed her knitting and tatting, while enjoying her afternoon soap operas with her grandchildren.

She will be lovingly remembered by her family which she dedicated her life to caring for. Beatrice not only raised her children but also played an active role in helping to care for most of her grandchildren.

Preceded by her husband, Gerald (Darrell) Foo, her son Carl (wife Lizzie) Hing, and her son Richard (wife Patricia) Foo.

She will be greatly missed by her children Dennis (Leonie) Foo, Phyllis (Neville) Manbahal, Myrna (Richard) Cho-Li, Marilyn (Donald) Reda, & Ivor (Sally) Foo.

Adoring grandma to Natalie, Vanessa, Liza, Nigel, Angela, Ryan, Susanne, Melissa, Leon, Neil, Felicia, Michelle, Christina, Marie, Richard, Jeremy, Tiffany, Stephanie, & Jessica.

She will also be dearly missed by her great- grandchildren to Seth, Jasmine, Evan, Rebecca, Jacob, Dexter, Gwen, Zachary, Ava, Audrianna-Lynn, Jaiden, Brynlee, Oliver & Devin.

Beatrice will be forever in our hearts and minds.
