Daddy was born on June 2, 1940 in Trinidad, to Ramkissoon RamadheenSingh and Mamnie. He was the first of 17 children and grew up in the town of Debe. Daddy was loved dearly by his parents, sibling, and friends alike.
At the age of 25, he met his future wife Sheila Hookumsingh, and as a young couple starting off their life together, they moved to the northern part of Trinidad, where they settle in a small village called Bamboo Settlement #3. Daddy was a very hard working man, he worked two jobs (Government worker and Taxi driver), to provide for his growing family.
At the age of 35, Daddy made a very important decision to start studying the Bible and eventually getting baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. This most important decision, led to his wife and kids (Carol, Terrance, Sherrie, Valerie, and Clarie) joining him in this beautiful hope.
Daddy loved watching cricket and soccer. His favorite movies were Indian, Western, and Kung Fu movies. His favorite pastime was going to the beach and having cookouts with his family. Taking trips to the South of Trinidad was a must do event at least 3 times a month.
As his kids got older, he took steps to provide the opportunity for them to have a better life by helping them to move to the US and Canada. Eventually, he sold his home and moved to the US with his kids, where he lived and worked in New York for 11 years, and then made his last and final move to Canada where he settled down with his son, Terrance.
Daddy was always surrounded by a growing family which includes 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 4 Son-in-Laws, and countless nieces and nephews. Even though Daddy lived his final 18-years of his life in Canada, his heart will always remain in Trinidad.
