Barry Jarvis

January 30, 1948 - February 8, 2026

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved dad and husband. He leaves behind his loving wife, Helen, and his four children, Adam, Shane, Candace, and Ryan, along with his daughters-in-law Natalie and Julie, and son-in-law Darcy.

He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Liam, Olivia, Kian, Shaye, Brandon, Ryan, Alice, and Elodie, each of whom brought him endless joy.

He was a gentle, kind, and steady presence in our lives, and his love for his family was unwavering. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Dad, you were my safe place. You had a way of making me feel seen, loved, and like I mattered more than anything else in the world. I was so incredibly lucky to have you as my father. You were a gentle giant with the kindest heart — calm, easy-going, and full of quiet strength. The love you had for your grandchildren was pure joy, and the pride you felt for your family was written all over you.

We will keep your memory alive every day. We will talk about you often, share your stories, and make sure the kids always know just how deeply they were loved by their Choch. We promise to take care of Mom and remind her every day that she is never alone. Your love lives on through all of us, and I will carry you with me always.

Barry lived his life on his own terms. He loved and cherished his family. His children and grandchildren will remember and honour his memory, Rest in peace my love, until we meet again. In the mean time I will keep my promise to you and take the reins.

Dad enjoyed the simple things in life like a Sunday football game or cheering on one of his Grandkids at their favourite sport. He also loved the finer things in life. Like cruising to exciting destinations with the love of his life. He enjoyed a good meal with good conversation. A great guy to be around.
