On Saturday August 10th, 2024, the Lord called one of His strongest angels to His side. As the head of her family, daughter to Ruby and Andrew, wife to Gordon, mother to Charlene and Samantha, sister to her ten siblings- Jean, Elsie, Sybil, Bernadette (Buntin), Ralphie, Vernon, Gable, Alan, Mitchum, and Dinglay, Mama to her seven beloved grandchildren- Chynna, Cheyanne, Jc, Chloe, Chantal, Joey, Lizzy, her many nieces & nephews, and a friend to all.

Barbara was a true example of God's love, and whoever was blessed enough to cross paths with her felt it. She always put 110% into making sure her family was taken care of in every way, and she put them first no matter what. Barbara loved the Lord and dedicated her life to serving Him, sharing His word with anyone that she had the opportunity to. Her strength, heart, humour, and of course her dancing will be so greatly missed every day of our lives.

Friends and family can join together on Sunday August 18th from 2PM-4PM as well as 6PM-8PM at The Simple Alternative Funeral Home, 1535 South Gateway Road, Mississauga. Funeral service will take place on Monday August 19th from 10:30AM-11AM at The Simple Alternative Funeral Home, following with Barbara's Celebration of Life at 11AM-11:45AM. We will then proceed to Meadowvale Cemetery, 7732 Mavis Road, Brampton, where Barbara will be laid to rest at 12:30PM.

To honour Barbara we ask that family and friends wear a touch of green, as it was her favourite colour.
