Barbara Joan Walford (nee Cormack)

Surrounded by the love of her family, Barb passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025, at the age of 86.

Loving wife of the late Paul Walford. Cherished mother of Karen (Mark), Terry (Scott), and Debbi (Brent).
“Grams” will be lovingly remembered by her precious grandchildren Ashley (Trevor), Ryan, Emily, Ben and Jennifer.
Loving daughter of the late Alexander and Thelma Cormack and devoted sister of the late William and Robert Cormack.

Barb was the foundation of her family and always made certain that they were together and surrounded by love and joy on every occasion.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends at her family cottage in Marmora.

Many thanks to everyone at Extendicare Rouge Valley for their compassionate care and always making mom smile.

A memorial Service will be held on Sunday, May 25th, 2025. Visitation will take place from 1:00PM to 2:00PM. Service will begin at 2:00PM at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre Pickering, 1057 Brock Road, Pickering, ON.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.

Dear Deb and family, we are so dearly sorry for your loss. I have had the great opportunity to meet and visit with Barbara and it was always very special. Please know we are thinking of all of you.
