BARBARA JEAN TALBOT

November 10, 1936 – June 29, 2023

On June 29, 2023 in her 87th year, Barbara Jean Talbot (née Hair) passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Cherished and loving mother to Shirley (Malcolm), and Charles (Sharon), and mother-in-law to Monica, and Paul (Marilyn). One of a kind grandmother to Laura (Matthew), Jeffrey, Christopher (Katherine), Lindsay (Jason), Elizabeth (Jaffar), Melissa and Hayden. Barbara was blessed with seven great-grandchildren, Cali, Hayden, Wesley, Emmett, Hudson, Hazel, and Brooke. Barbara will also be greatly missed by her sister Marnie, all her wonderful friends, extended family, and members of the Maple Avenue Baptist Church. Barbara is predeceased by her daughter Elizabeth Coffey, parents Elmer and Constance and sisters Dorothy and Ruth.

Barbara loved her family and spending quality time with them above all else. She was an active member of the church and a past member of the legion, loved spending time at her trailer, as well as knitting. She loved her many pets over the years and leaves behind her fur-babies Lilly and Lee.

We will forever miss you and will cherish all our wonderful memories. Always loved and forever in our hearts.

In memory of Barbara and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Maple Avenue Baptist Church in Georgetown would be appreciated by the family.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Maple Avenue Baptist Church, 177 Maple Avenue, Georgetown. A private interment at Meadowvale Cemetery will follow.
