I had the pleasure of working with Barbara at the University of Toronto Archives for more than 20 years. Her professionalism and expertise never failed to impress me. My condolences to her children, family and friends.

Barbara was a beautiful person both physical and within. I always laughed when she would try to be mad...because she still sounded like she was full of joy! I remember her smile and she spoke with her hand.
I loved her and I will miss her. A beautiful person all around.
Continued blessing to her entire family.

Barbara, may you rest in Jesus' perfect peace.

I will never forget you. We were pregnant at the same time, our boys grew up together, and you were the one who brought me to Grant AME Church way back in the late 90's, and I've never left since.
For your friendship from back then l will be eternally grateful. God took you early, but with Him it'll be but a moment before we'll see each other again.

To Saskia and Obiri: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths." Proverbs 3:5-6

My deepest and most heartfelt condolences.
Robin

Barbara and her daughter were at my Surprise Birthday Party last year, 8 January 2024, and we had an enjoyable time. Now, 1 year and 3 days she passed, and I thank GOD for placing her in my life.
Thanks for all the memories, and now Barbara, rest in eternal peace on your Saviour’s breast!
GONE, BUT NOT FORGOTTEN! R I P.
