Peacefully passed, at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto. Barb was the loving daughter to her predeceased parents, Rose Marie and Bob Heggie. Cherished dearly by her predeceased sisters Grace and Sandi. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends in Canada, United States and Scotland. Barb’s love, compassion, wisdom, humility and humour will forever be etched in the hearts of all of us.

Thank you to the entire staff at The Claremont Retirement Residence for their tremendous care and kindness. As well to the medical teams at St. Michael’s Hospital and Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare in Bracebridge. A special thank you to Barb’s friends in her home community of Gravenhurst for their care and support.

A graveside service will take place at Pine Hills Cemetery (625 Birchmount Rd. Scarborough), Section 16 on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a Charity of your Choice would be appreciated.
