Barbara Cissell

June 23, 1934 - December 29, 2016

Peacefully passed away after a lengthy heroic battle against several cancers on Thursday December 29th, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Keith. Cherished mother of Richard (Halima), Patricia, Julie (Silvia) and Daniel (Cathy). Treasured grandmother and great grandmother. Barbara will be sadly missed by her brother Ronald (Pat), family, friends and her beloved Rocky.

Visitations will take place at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E.), on Friday January 13th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday January 14th at 11am with visitation one hour prior. Donations can be made to The Providence Health Care Palliative Care Unit or The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada.

Barbara was a such a wonderful and dear soul who made her family and friends feel important and special. Her kindness towards others and her brilliant sense of humour along with that wonderful contagious laugh of hers will remain dear to my heart and in my memories forever. Barbara, “love ya lots”.
