In memory of

Barbara Ann Sharman

November 2, 1944 -  April 12, 2023

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Sharman on April 12, 2023 at the age of 78.
Barbara was a beautiful and loving wife, daughter, sister, mother, aunt and grandmother to a family that loved her dearly and will miss her every day. She was also a good friend to so many for over 50 years.
Barbara was born in Toronto, Ontario as the oldest child of Gordon and Georgina Osborne, and was predeceased by her mother Georgina Osborne, brother Wayne Osborne and her niece Lori Konst (MacDonald).
Together Don and her enjoyed over 54 years of marriage traveling the world. Barb worked at an insurance company for over 20 years and then enjoyed working together with Don in their family-owned business until recently.
Barbara dearly loved her family, the sun, a good book and a very good glass of wine. She was always thinking of others before herself; her gorgeous smile and her beautiful way about her will be cherished and missed forever.
Barbara is survived by her father Gordon Osborne (who will turn 100 this year), her devoted husband Donald Sharman, her two children, Kimberly Sharman (Jeff) and Keri Jarrett (Mark), her beautiful grandchildren Alexandra, Tyler and Hayley Jarrett, her sisters-in-law Carole Rumbaki and Shirley Sharman, brother-in-law Gary Sharman and and her nieces Diana Begley (Derek) and Tracey Degano (Paul), and beloved nephews David Osborne, Billy Rumbaki, Cary Sharman (Colleen), Jay Sharman and Todd Sharman (Donna).
Barbara will be laid to rest at York Cemetery near her mother and brother, and we will host a Memorial / Celebration of Life reception in her honour on Saturday, June 10th at York Funeral Center, from 2pm to 4pm in the Willowdale Suite. Barbara would have loved for any charitable donations to go to the children at Sick Kids Hospital at www.sickkids.ca or www.stjude.org.
