Barb was a great person and bright light in every school she worked in. I remember most working with her teaching Art, Drama and Dance to the Grade 7/8 LD students. She had a special relationship with her students and she loved to motivate them to do and be their best. My heart aches for her loving family as she often shared how proud she was of her children and gorgeous grandchildren.
She left us far too early but definitely with many fond memories. She was a woman of substance and flair. Rest in peace Barb. My sincerest condolences. x
Missing you already my dear friend. We always had so much to talk about over the 43 years that we knew each other. My heart is sad that I will no longer be able to talk with you. You were always so funny and had so many adventures and stories of life to tell. Always with a smile on your face and laughter in your voice. This last year was so tough knowing all the suffering you were going through. You managed it in "Barb fashion" though with determination and grace with your loving family by your side. Until we meet again my friend!
Dear Westley, Danielle and Dawn
We were saddened to hear that Barb has passed away. She was such a strong person and she fought very hard to win the battle. She is now an angel and will be watching over her family from up above. We are sending healing prayers and comforting hugs to all of you. A beautiful soul will never be forgotten.
May she rest in peace, Thank you for putting up with me in my years at Highland Creek- and thank you for helping out with my graduation outfit and helping me fix my hair, and for everything else you did for my classmates and myself, you'll be greatly missed and not forgotten... You're in a far better place now.
Amazing soul with the kindest heart who really loves her family and Westley is her heart.
