In memory of

Balva Kula-Bredovskis

July 14, 1931 -  October 5, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Balva Kula-Bredovskis (nee Namgauds) on October 5, 2022 at the age of 91. Balva was predeceased by her first husband, Janis (John) Kula, her brothers Janis (John), Andris and Mintauts. She leaves behind her husband of 22 years, Atis Bredovskis and his children and grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and godchildren in England and Canada. Balva left the country of her birth, Latvia, at the age of 15, but never forgot her roots, travelling back to Latvia many times to visit family and friends. Two things that were very close to her heart were her church and the Toronto Latvian Saturday School.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Balva’s memory to St. Andrews Latvian Lutheran Church (www.standrewslatvian.org) or TLB Sestdienas Skola (4 Credit Union Dr, Toronto, M4A 2N8).

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 19th at 10 am, with visitation from 9 am, at the York Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 160 Beecroft Rd, Toronto. Interment to follow.
