In memory of

Victor Charles Ball

March 8, 1927 -  November 7, 2022

Our beloved Victor Charles Ball passed away on November 7, 2022. Victor was blessed to live a long life of 95 years. During those years he loved to travel with is loving partner, Doris Lowry. He will be reunited with her in Heaven. He will be fondly missed by his four children; Steven Ball (Judy), Richard Ball, Dianna Klatt, and Delia Jamieson (Scott). He was a special grandfather and great-grandfather to many. He played a special part in many peoples lives.

Victor was born to his parents Leonard and Agnes Ball, in Toronto. He was the oldest of three siblings and two step siblings; Betty, Ernie, Carole and William.

The family wants to thank all the wonderful staff at Credit Valley Hospital, who helped take care of Victor in his final weeks. We ask that in lieu of flowers, to please donate to the Credit Valley Hospital Foundation.

We were very fortunate that we were able to have Victor in our lives since 1987. He was part of our family celebrating the many amazing moments of life. He was a great partner to my mother, a wonderful influence on Kathy and myself and a loving and caring grandfather to Samantha, Tommy and Stephanie. We cared deeply about him and we will greatly miss him.

We were very blessed when my mom met Victor and h became part of our family. Not only did our mom find a life partner, we were blessed to have a loving step dad and grandfather. We have many fond memories of you and mom spending the winters in Florida and visiting you both in Canada. Amanda and Thomas fondly remember you as their Papa Max and how you picked them up from school when you visited and spent time with them. We will miss you terribly and know you are now with mom and Maxine in heaven. You were loved in so many ways and we will miss you terribly. We love you Papa Maxđź’•

Victor was always a calm and fun loving addition to our household and the many holidays we celebrated with him and Doris. We fondly remember our trip to Las Vegas for Doris’ birthday, dinner atop the Paris hotel and Victor borrowing a cyclist’s bicycle for a “photo op” to make it look like he rode a bike around Red Rock Canyon! His sense of humour often took us by surprise. When Doris passed away he remained a very important member of the family and Samantha, Tommy, and Stephanie will always treasure their relationship with their grandpa.
