In memory of

Audrey Hawkins

October 25, 1924 -  November 16, 2022

Passed away peacefully on 16 November 2022. She was 98. She had a happy and successful life. For many years Audrey was a full time volunteer at the Montreal General Hospital and the Toronto General Hospital. She was born and raised in London, Ontario. She moved to Montreal in 1954, and relocated to Toronto in 1982. She was married to her late husband Stan for more than sixty years. She is survived by her only child, Cecil (Susan), her beloved granddaughters Amanda and Erin (Rob), and two adored great grandchildren. Audrey’s family lived close by, so she was able to see them every week for visits and Sunday dinners. Only in the last six months, as advanced age took its toll, was she confined to her bed. Audrey was the type of person who loved to help other people, whether through her charity work, by entertaining them in her home, or through gifts and emotional support. She prided herself on living a kind and upright life, and she set a wonderful example for all those who knew her. A private burial has taken place at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Invitations to a Celebration of Life will follow in the next month.
