In memory of

Audrey Gerry

December 25, 1932 -  September 6, 2021

Audrey Fidelis Gerry (nee Hart) passed away peacefully on Monday, September 6, 2021 following a courageous battle with dementia and multiple myeloma. She is predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Robert Gerry and is survived by her daughters Karen (Rob) and Dawn (Paul) and grandchildren Emma, Elisabeth, Hanna and Harrison, and her brother John Hart.

Celebrating the holidays and special occasions with family and friends was a highlight for Audrey throughout her life. She was an amazing cook and an exceptional baker, and whenever you went to her house for dinner, you made sure to bring your appetite and to always leave room for dessert!

Audrey loved the arts, especially music and dance. So much so, that family traditions included seeing National Ballet's Nutcracker every year at Christmas and playing Frank Sinatra albums whenever everyone was together!

Her infectious giggle, warm smile and generous heart will be missed by all who knew her.

Donations in memory of Audrey to the Alzheimer's Society of Ontario or Myeloma Canada would be greatly appreciated.

Audrey was an earth Angel to me when my Mom passed over twenty years ago. We were kindred spirits, and we were always safe with one another. She truly was a second Mom to me. I am so thankful to have been blessed with such a wonderful and gentle soul in my life. Importantly, Karen and I have reconnected from our remote university days. Audrey’s legacy will live on through our “Bestie” friendship💝😇🙏🏽

I thank bob & Audrey so much for taking me in and treating me like a daughter. Even though I was there to take care of Audrey at home I really felt the love and compassion. I am very thankful for all the advice bob has given me while i was there. Audrey I will really miss you I had a lot of fun baking and listening to everything you had to say all the stories you shared with me the games we used to play I hope your in a better place. I’m really grateful for meeting you and your family thank you.

Audrey will always be held in a special place in my heart. Her kindness was beyond measure. My only regret is the the distance between Calgary and Mississauga that made our visits too infrequent.
I have a number of special gifts in my home that I continue to treasure. She always arrived bearing gifts. Rest in piece Aunt Audrey.

I did not have the pleasure of meeting you in person but heard many lovely stories. What I can see is how your love, heart and hands helped shape the wonderful friend, woman, mom, sister, daughter, wife and mentor I know and love dearly.
God bless and Godspeed
