In memory of

Audrey Ellen Harrison

December 28, 1932 -  April 29, 2022

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved, Audrey, with her loving family at her side on April 29, 2022. Beloved wife of Bernie for over 40 years, cherished mother to Tom (Katherine) Browne, Dave (Trish) Browne, Julie (Jordan) Kruger, Jennifer (Scott) Killen. Audrey adored her six grandchildren Robert (Ivania), James (Donnie), Ryan, Graydon, Kelly and Cooper, and great-grand child Gustavo Browne. Audrey was pre-deceased by her loving parents Edward and Mina Graydon and daughter-in-law Sherry Begley Browne. She will be sadly missed by her cherished lifelong friend Marilyn Murphy and cousins Myrna and Ron Caverley and Barb Chambers. A special thank you to all the staff at The Elden of Bradford, for their excellent care and compassion. They made Audrey so comfortable and she made each of them feel like her favourite too.

Audrey’s favourite pastime was spending time with her family and she was always willing to wear a silly hat or play little games to make us laugh. She had a magical way of making everyone she met feel special and loved, which brought her so much love in return.

Audrey and Bernie loved to travel and went to many destinations far and wide, including Greece, Alaska, Arizona and Las Vegas was one of their favourites. They enjoyed many nights dancing downtown at Dooley’s and often playing dominos on the kitchen table.
Audrey was the glue that held our family together, even in tough times she managed to focus on the important things and she has always been so proud of how close we all are even across many miles.

Visitation at Elgin Mills Funeral Centre at 1591 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill, Tuesday May 3, from 9:30-10:30. Funeral Service at 10:30 followed by a short reception and procession to Mount Pleasant Cemetery for interment. For those who wish, memorial donations to Toronto Wildlife Centre or the World Wild Life Fund.

We didn’t spend a lot of time with Audrey only because they lived too far away. Through her daughter Jen we know she was a kind, gentle and loving mother who treasured her family. May she Rest In Peace.
Sincerely,
Terry and Mary Lou Killen

Dear Jen and Scott, so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. Although we never met her we’re sure she was a classy lady just like Jen. We will remember her in our prayers. Stay strong my friends.
