Papaioannou, Athina April 15th, 1931 - July 14, 2017.
With great sadness, we announce the passing of Athina (Tina) on July 14, 2017. Wife of the late Lukas Papaioannou. Although she had no children of her own, she was loved by many. Loving and much loved aunt of Milka (Shukri), late Mita (Nasko), Philip (Lena), Sophia (Pavlo) and Sotiri. Proud Baba to Natasha (David) and Christine (Frank). Cherished great-Baba to Matthew, Nicholas, Benjamin and Madeline. Beloved Yiayia to Ria (Tom) and Lazo (Nadia). Great-Yiayia to Zoe and Paolo. Tina was happiest when surrounded by her family and those she loved. She was hardworking and generous to her family. She will be greatly missed. Friends may call at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough for visitation on Tuesday July 18, 2017 from 5 to 9pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday July 19, 2017 at Pine Hills Cemetery at 11am with visitation one hour prior.
