In memory of

Atefeh Shadpour

September 21, 1982 -  September 4, 2023

Beloved Atefeh left us tragically at the age of 41 on September 4th, 2023, leaving behind a void that can never be filled. She will be deeply missed by her mother, Tahereh, her sister, Elaheh, her aunt, Maryam, her uncles, Javad and Ali, and her cousins, Mahsa, Parissa, Nafiseh, Nariman, and Nakissa).

Atefeh was born in the lovely city of Shiraz in Iran. She pursued her dreams with determination and earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2008, she embarked on a new chapter in her life by moving to Canada for her graduate studies at the University of Windsor and the University of Waterloo. Her academic pursuits led her to a fulfilling career as a Mechanical Engineer in the Province of Ontario, where she was a member of the Professional Engineers Ontario.

Atefeh was known for her radiant smile, boundless enthusiasm, and kind heart. She possessed a unique ability to touch the lives of everyone she encountered. Her passion for helping others extended beyond her professional life, as she actively participated in philanthropic activities, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to making the world a better place.

Her memory will forever live on in the stories we share, the laughter we remember, and the love we continue to feel. Though she has left us too soon, her spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
As we bid farewell to our beloved Atefeh, let us remember the remarkable woman she was and the profound impact she had on all our lives. She will forever remain alive in our hearts and minds.

Rest in eternal peace, dear Atefeh. You will always be cherished, loved, and remembered.

Dear Atefeh's Family & Friends,

We are extremely saddened to hear the news that such an immensely loving & beautiful person both inside & out, has left too soon.

In the 3 years that we worked together, she was my mentor & someone that inspired me. I was very sad to have to move away from her daily influence to make a much needed career change, but we kept in touch. I know that she was highly respected by anyone who came to know her.

She will NEVER be forgotten & we hope that time will be merciful in both your grieving and healing.

With Deepest & Sincerest Condolences

I had the pleasure of being Atefeh’s manager at Howden for the past several years. Atefeh was a pleasure to work with, her smile and positive attitude helped to uplift the entire engineering team. Her thirst for technical knowledge as well as the interest she took in our personal lives endeared her to us. Family was important to Atefeh, she often spoke with me about her Mother, Sister and Brother-in-law, whom she obviously loved very much. Thank you Atefeh for enriching our lives with your presence, we miss you.
