Astrida Vasilis passed away at Humber River Hospital, North York, with her youngest daughter by her side, on Monday, August 14, 2023 at the age of 95 years. Predeceased by her husband Elmars Vasilis (1990). Loving and loved mother of Indra Carveth (Steve), Ingrida Roberts (Wayne). Loving Oma to Kristin Hutchinson (Mike) Michael Carveth (Keila) Natalie and Brooklyn. Proud to be a Great Oma to Lilly, Stephen and Ivy.

The family would like to thank the staff at Southlake Regional Health Centre, the Reactivation Care Centre, Humber River Hospital Emergency Department, CHATS and Heart@Home for their wonderful care and support.

A private family graveside service will take place at York Cemetery in Toronto on August 23, 2023.
