July 20, 1932 - June 7, 2019

Passed away quietly at Bendale Acres, on Friday June 7, 2019 in his 87th year. Asseri is survived by his loving wife Aini, children Tapani, Anita (Dave), and Anne, grandchildren Lea (Paul), Shannon (Jamie), Maija and Liam and great grandchildren Olivia and Gavin. Predeceased by his brother Eero, will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Viena and Lili, and his 8 half brothers and sisters in Finland. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Canadian Cancer Society, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Canada, and Agricola Lutheran Church.
