In memory of

Ashok Sharma

August 13, 1950 -  December 5, 2019

Ashok Kumar Sharma moved on from this beautiful Earth on December 5, 2019.

Ashok was born to Anant Ram and Shanti Sharma on August 13, 1950 in Bilaspur, India. As a child, he excelled in academics and being the best brother to his six wonderful siblings. He was known as the only one of the five brothers who never got in trouble with his parents and simply always did as his Mother said. A good boy he was.

Moving to Canada in the early 1970’s, Ashok drove to lead a life of prosperous health, happiness, and to start a family of his own with the principles instilled in him by his loving parents and siblings. He enjoyed a beautiful marriage with his loving wife Indu for over 41 years, creating memories and friendships along the way that filled his lifetime with the happiness he sought.

When you ask someone anywhere in the world what type of man Ashok was, they all say the same thing. Ashok was a gentle, mild, honest man who never wanted anything more than the basics of life. The luxuries of life are what he wanted for those he loved. Ashok brought peace to a room with his gentlemanly words and smile while always showing respect to those around him, young and old.

Ashok’s best friends were his family. He wanted his wife to always smile, his daughter to always laugh, his son to always have more, and his siblings to be proud of him.
He is survived by his loving wife Indu, daughter Priya, son Mohit and his wife Bhavna, grandchildren Shalin and Veera, and his six wonderful siblings.

Thank you Mr. Sharma! Your life allowed for the lives of many to follow, each a separate journey connecting to other lives and journeys, the way your son Mohit and I have connected. For this, I thank you the same way I would my own parents.
May we meet again some day.
