With poise and grace, Arturs released his last breath at 8:07pm on February 16th 2017, with his beloved Aija at his side, where she has been for the past 35 years. Much to his annoyance, life thwarted his plan of slipping away peacefully at his cherished summer home on Eels Lake. Art was father to Ina (Ian), Daina (Johan), Dzintra (Philip), and Andris (Melissa); and grandfather to Courtney and James, Sven and Ester, Kristina and Reis, Madelyn, Evan and Lila, and extended grandchildren, Bryn, Karl, Dylan and Chantelle.
Loved family relatives: Renata Webb and family, Semjanous family, and Neidols family.
Loved also by family and those here and overseas in Latvia where his life journey began.
Dignified; a gentleman and never a lover of fuss, Art's wishes are to be cremated with little pomp and circumstance.
