On October 25, 2022, Arthur G.B. Dookwah died suddenly and unexpectedly at his home at the age of 59. He is lovingly remembered by his adoring wife Michelle Ghazouli of 27 years, and their daughters Tess Dookwah and Austin Dookwah. Everyone who knew Arthur knew him to be the most adoring husband and father to his girls. Arthur comes from a large family who immigrated here from his native country, Guyana, and will be missed dearly by five older siblings (two brothers and three sisters) and their families as well as his two older daughters Sydney Dookwah and Courtney Dookwah and his grandson Quentin Dookwah. Besides his deep and unwavering love for his family, Arthur loved and was devoted to God and his faith. We take peace in knowing that his faith will guide him in his journey in the afterlife. Arthur worked alongside his wife Michelle from the moment they met. They started as duty-free and perfume aficionados and for the past 20 years they have been an inseparable duo of mortgage brokers with MICO Financial Corporation. Although his time was much too short, he spent every second for the past 30 years by Michelle, Tess and Austin's side. It was a rare day you didn't find the four of them together showering each other in love and adoration. Arthur had so many interests and talents and a vast, detailed knowledge on any given subject. He was an avid lover of all genres of music, a bookworm, a movie buff, a martial artist, a fashionista, and a true creative mind which translated into beautiful drawn art and many many inventions. His family invites you to join them in celebrating Arthur at the Elgin Mills Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Centre at 1591 Elgin Mills E, Richmond Hill Ontario. The service will be held on November 3, 2022 and will commence at 3pm and will be followed by a short reception. Doors will be open at 2:15pm.
