In memory of

Artemis Ziskos

April 2, 1936 -  May 21, 2020

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Artemis Ziskos, 84, on May 21
at Extendicare Guildwood, from complications of Corona virus.

Artemis was born in 1936, in Klidi, Greece to Ioannis and Zacharoula Kestides.

Predeceased by her parents, loving husband Tom, children Helen, Vulla, Johnny and siblings Agape (Peter), Pascale (Effie), Alex (Athena), Jimmy (Eleni) and very recently, her youngest sister Eleni in Greece.

Survived by her sister Kia (John) and extended family of nieces/nephews and great nieces/nephews.
Artemis will be remembered for many things; her inner strength, resilience and courage in the face of adversity and hardship. Her steadfast faith and kindness towards others despite great personal losses and heartache.

She was a kind hearted and generous soul with an easy going disposition.
Blessed with a sense of humour she could always elicit laughter with a joke or funny anecdote to lift our spirits and generate smiles.

We will also remember her every time we pull on a pair of socks.
Each Christmas, Artemis would add to her families’ sock collection of what would become a sweet lifetime supply.

Artemis was adored and loved. Her life touched many people and we will dearly miss her presence on this earth.

Due to the nature of the Covid-19 pandemic and imposed safety restrictions, we will be holding a very small intimate funeral service by invite only for family and friends on Saturday, May 30th at Pine Hills Cemetery.

Please leave messages of condolences via this tribute site.

It's with a heavy heart to hear of the passing of my Grandmother, after many years of trying to locate her.. My heart weighs very heavy to know it's too late. May you rest in peace and be reunited with my father, grandfather and two aunts. Love you and may we meet again xo
