To Arnold’s children (Kayann, Kenyan, Karen & Kenman)
We are sorry for the loss of your dad. I Had the pleasure of knowing him for the last 40+ years. Our relationship began at the Westbury hotel where he was a door man and I was a payroll clerk. What followed was years of tax preparation for the entire family (most of of whom I never met) and any other paperwork that he could not manage due to the language skills. He was generous - he never missed a Christmas journey to Mississauga with Chinese treats and an expensive bottle of brandy for my husband, even though I told him that my husband was the beneficiary of my gratuitous work :-)
He was a hard working, humble soul who loved his family and was very proud of his children and grandchildren.
May he Rest In Peace and you take comfort in knowing that he will live in our memory.

So long my friend. I was but a teenager in Gravelbourg in the 1960s when we spent many hours playing cards at the Star Cafe. Many stories were also shared. I learned a lot about the streets and people of Hong Kong and life in general. I thank you Arnie, for letting me work off my bill by filling in for you at the front of the cafe when you went on a well deserved holiday. You had wonderful young kids who I am sure developed into fine adults. Hello to Kaiman who was at our wedding in Moose Jaw 28 years ago. Thank you for your friendship Arnold! I will miss you but always keep you in my heart. Dan
Uncle Arnold was always pleasant. He was here in Calgary in 2002. Attended my dad's 80th birthday and the wedding of my daughter. He cares a lot. May he rest in peace.
Sad to see go
A wonderful man with a wonderful sense of humor.
