Passed away comfortably at home on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 in her 60th year after a battle with cancer. Dear partner of Derek Burroughes. Proud mother of Kendra (Kyle Whitehorn) and Julianna.
Much loved sister of Karen. Cherished aunt of Dylan, Maggi and Jake.
Sandra has a kindness and generosity that was felt by all that knew her and was passionate about her career working with seniors as the VP of Sales for Chartwell Retirement Residences. In memory of Sandra, donations can be made to Hearth Place.

Sandra, her sister Karen and their parents became my most beloved family when we all met in Greece in the 70’s, with their coming from Canada and myself from Australia! We shared and enriched each others lives by embracing the qualities and traditions of our different cultures and I have so, so many fun and quirky memories and experiences with both my dearest friends, Sandra and Karen. Sandra was a vivacious, brave, daring, beautiful, intelligent and kind human being that had a thirst and curiosity for life!
I would like to convey my sincere condolences to her daughters, partner, sister, niece, nephews and to all those who cared, cherished and loved Sandra! Light on your way, Sandra! 🙏🖤🙏🖤🙏 You shall always be remembered as your memory will always be eternal and never forgotten! Your contribution to the lives of us, who were lucky to have had our paths cross each other’s remains now to held in our hearts and mind! I shall be paying my respects to you and to the imprint that you have left on all of us by lighting your candle from now onwards for peace and to your soul parties from now on!
