In memory of

Arman Montazeri

October 7, 1938 -  February 4, 2025

With deep sorrow and profound respect, we announce the passing of Arman, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and poet whose words and wisdom touched the hearts of many.

Born in Kermanshah, Arman’s life was a journey of resilience, love, and unwavering pursuit of knowledge. Though he lost his mother at birth, he was nurtured by his grandmother’s warmth and guided by his uncle’s steadfast support. His passion for learning led him across borders, from Iran to England, Spain, and Canada, yet his heart always remained with his homeland.

A man of deep love and devotion, Arman found his greatest joy in his wife, Guiti, with whom he built a life of kindness and companionship. He was a proud father and grandfather, cherishing his children and grandchildren as his legacy. His poetry, filled with reflections on life’s joys and sorrows, will continue to inspire those who read his words.

Though life took him far from the land of his birth, his soul forever belonged to Kermanshah. His memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones, in the stories he told, and in the poetry that immortalizes his journey.

Rest in peace, dear Arman. Your words will echo through generations, and your spirit will never be forgotten.

For those who are unable to attend the funeral service it will be livestreamed for public viewing on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 1 p.m... (a link will be available on this memorial page at 1 p.m.). After the funeral has been completed the recording will be uploaded to the ‘Media’ tab or future viewing.

Condolence messages and memorial donations may be conveyed through this memorial page. Thank you for your understanding, kindness and support during this difficult time.

My mom and Arman shared a dining table at Sagecare and as I visit almost daily, Arman and I always exchanged lovely and warm smiles. Though I met him at the end of his life, he emanated warmth and gentility. My dear mom seemed for forge a sweet connection with Arman which made me very happy. I’m sorry for your loss
and though we didn’t know Arman long, we, and I know a number of the staff, miss him. With respect,
Debra Feldman and my mom, Sue.
