In memory of
Ariel Gomez
October 4, 1960 -
December 7, 2024
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, uncle, and father figure, Ariel Gomez. Ariel peacefully entered the presence of the Lord on December 7, 2024, in Toronto at the age of 64.
Ariel was not only a devoted and loving son of the late Salvador Sr. (Badong) and Milagros (Milagring) but also the steadfast anchor of our family. He stood as a father to us, his siblings—Marizol (Ollie), Maynard, and Salvador Jr. (Jhun)—and a caring brother-in-law to Susan and Alphonsel. Ariel led with strength, humility, and unwavering love. He was a proud and doting uncle to Zeth, Elijah, Aaron, Jacob, Aeryn, Leia, Lemuel, and Noah, shaping their lives with wisdom and kindness.
Ariel’s life was a testament to generosity, selflessness, and a deep faith in God. He gave tirelessly of himself, embodying love in action and leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him. His presence was a source of comfort and strength, and his quiet sacrifices will forever inspire us.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this time of loss. We find solace in knowing that Ariel is now in the arms of the Lord, reunited with our parents and surrounded by eternal peace.
“We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.”
2 Corinthians 5:8
His memory will live on in our hearts forever.
