Born in Kamaria Selinou Hania, Crete, Greece. Passed away in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother and uncle, Antonios Klinakis at the Hellenic Home for the Aged on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at the age of 88. He joins his beloved late wife of 40 years, Dimitra (2012). He is lovingly remembered by his brothers, sister, nieces, nephews, family and friends in Canada, Greece and the U.S.A.

He came to Canada in 1969 and within a year met and married his loving wife, Dimitra. Together they took care of each other. Andoni worked in hospitality services for more than 20 years at the Westbury Hotel at Yonge and Carlton in downtown Toronto.

His nieces and nephews remember his kindness and generosity and that he loved eating and singing about "staka" a traditional Cretan dairy product. There was rarely a time he would see them and not offer them candy or money to go buy themselves a treat. He had a pure heart and was kind and gentle. When you spoke to him about Crete or his village of Kamaria, his face lit up. He loved spending time with his brother Manoli going for pizza, haircuts and to visit family around the city.

The family would like to thank the wonderful, hardworking, dedicated team of nurses, PSW’s and volunteers who took care of Antonios (Andoni) over the years. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Hellenic Home for the Aged https://hellenichome.org/
