In memory of

Antoine Panoulias

December 29, 1936 -  March 15, 2024

Anotoine “Tony” Panoulias, age 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 15, 2024. One of seven children, he was born on December 29, 1936 in Elea Lakonias, Greece, to parents Anastasios and Eleni Panoulias. In 1961, he immigrated to Canada, first settling in North Bay and then moving to Toronto, where he eventually married, settled, and began raising his family.

Tony is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Irene, his loving children, Tom and Nick, their wives Maricris and Antonella, and his cherished grandchildren, Isabella, Nicolette, Irene, Mia, and Jacqueline.

A man of faith, Tony was a devoted Greek Orthodox Christian who committed to visiting church regularly and found strength by immersing himself in prayer. Leaving behind a legacy of extreme kindness and generosity, he will always be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, and the unconditional love he had for his children and grandchildren, cherishing them until his last breath. Tony loved to celebrate milestones and create meaningful traditions. Whether it was family dinners, holiday rituals, or storytelling, these shared experiences have created lasting memories and brought joy to our hearts. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Markham Stouffville Hospital would be appreciated.
