Anthony ‘Tony’ Caines

It is with profound sadness that the family of Anthony ‘Tony’ Graham Caines announces his passing on Saturday, June 1, 2024, in Toronto, Canada.
Tony is the son of the late Gertrude Anita Caines (nee Virgin) and the late Brinkworth Sinclair Tucker. Our beloved Tony is survived by his sister Mrs. Olga Howes of Bermuda, his brothers; Anthony Glenn Tucker Sr, St. Clair ‘Brinky’ Tucker, Robert Gary Tucker, Cecil Tucker and numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins, too numerous to mention.
He is predeceased by his siblings Geraldine Caines, Wilfred ‘Bunny’ Caines, Vernon ‘Bishop’ Caines, Sylvia ‘Virginia’ Caines, Margaret Simons (nee Caines), Carlyle ‘Joe’ Caines, Grandville ‘Fatsy’ Caines, Jacqueline ‘Oralene’ Trott (nee Caines), and Ali Sheed (aka James Caines).
He will be deeply missed by his family, special friend Stephen Gera, and numerous friends in Bermuda, the Caribbean, Canada, England, and the United States
A memorial will take place at a later date.

I wish the family all good and positive energy just like uncle tony had during his time of sickness i love and miss him dearly i am truly going to miss the chance of him seeing me after alll this time i wish i had more time so i could have spent it with him in bermuda like we discussed . Tony was a respected colleague and valued friend through some challenging professional and personal circumstances. His kindness, wisdom, humour and generosity were so appreciated. He made a huge contribution to community and touched many lives, mine among them. I will always be grateful for that.
