Born on February 21, 1953, in Freshwater, Placentia Bay, Newfoundland, Tony was the fourth of ten children and raised in an extremely, close loving family. He was predeceased by his wife, Judy, his mother, Helen Nolan, his father, James Nolan, his sister, Cynthia, his daughter, Karen, and his brothers-in-law, Bill Collins and Scott Anderson.

He was a devoted son, father, brother and treasured friend to many along with many special cousins and aunties. Tony's hobbies included camping and fishing, and he cherished time spent with his family and friends at his trailer by the river in Pridham’s Park. Here, weekends were filled with the sounds of laughter, good music, guitar playing, and sing-alongs to his favourite Newfoundland tunes.
No matter how busy things got, he always made time for the people he cared about and showed us that family comes first. - no matter what. Everyone who knew him knew how proud he was of the people he loved.
