Anthony Mavromihelakis

September 5, 1931 -  September 20, 2020

Passed peacefully on Sunday, September 20, 2020. Son of Ioannis and Panagiota (Aposporos), he was from Rethymno, Crete and lived in the Toronto area for over 60 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Vasiliki (Zisis) and their children Patricia (Ilias) Konidis, John, Perry (Nick) Kalogiannis, and Nechtarios (Lisa). He was a proud and devoted papou to Maria (Demetrios), Tonya (Boris), Stacey (James), Daniel, Alexander, Peter, Damian, and new great-grandpapou to Kanella Vasiliki and Alexander. He leaves behind brothers and sisters, many nieces and nephews, and several more beloved family members and friends. Anthony will be very fondly missed by all those who knew him, especially his family who cherished and loved him. His legacy will live on in their memories and stories.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, attendance at the visitation and funeral service is limited to close family. Condolence messages may be conveyed through Anthony’s memorial page. If so desired, flowers may be sent to Elgin Mills Funeral Centre, 1591 Elgin Mills Road E., Richmond Hill by Friday, September 25th before 10 a.m. Thank you for your understanding, kindness and support during this difficult time.
