It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anthony "Tony" Alderson. Tony was born on January 11, 1948, and left us peacefully on September 8, 2026.
He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his family and many friends. Forever in the hearts of his wife Joanna, and his sons John (Jessica) and Michael (Joy). Cherished grandfather of River, Otis and Atticus.
Tony was a man whose kindness, politeness, helpfulness, and spirituality touched everyone around him. His caring nature was evident to all who knew him and was particularly cherished by his family. His compassionate spirit shone brightly in all aspects of his life, from his personal relationships to his professional career as a financial advisor.
Tony was proud of his profession in wealth management, having completed the Canadian Securities Course. His professional accomplishment was not just a testament to his compassion and hard work, but also his dedication to providing for his family and helping others navigate their financial futures. He was always willing to lend a helping hand or share a piece of advice.
We extend our sincere thanks for the condolences and support that we have received. As we grieve, we are comforted by the knowledge that Tony's legacy of love, kindness, and compassion will continue on in those whose lives he touched.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE
A Graveside service for Tony will be held on September 26, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Please dress comfortably for the outdoors. We look forward to being together to honor Tony’s memory. We welcome you to join us for a final goodbye.
