Antal (Tony) Bodnár passed away peacefully at Bethany Lodge on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the age of 74 with his children by his side. Beloved husband of the late Judith and loving son of the late Antal and Magdolna. He will be missed by his children Diane (Kal Kurm), David (Michela Vitella), and his four grandchildren Jessica, Teia, Ryan, and Jaide. He will be remembered by his mother-in-law Elizabeth Magda, his siblings Pocsai Miklòsné and Dudás Gáspár, and their families in Hungary. He will also be missed by his cousin Tony Kerry and his wife Helen. Visitation will be held at York Funeral Centre on Thursday, November 23rd from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be Friday, November 24th at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior followed by burial at York Cemetery.

The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to the staff of Bethany Lodge in Markham along with his private caregivers for their compassionate care of Tony over the years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bethany Lodge, Markham, Ontario.
