I am deeply sadden by the news. My condolences to Brigid's family. She was such a lovely lady. She was a friend and although she was not family, I felt she could have been. She really enjoyed learning new things particularly related to technology. She will be missed.
With deepest sympathy, may her soul rest in peace.
Brigid and I worked together for perhaps two years, which was a joyous experience.
I extend my condolences to you all and will be thinking of you.
Brigid was a colleague and friend. We worked together in Boston, Lincolnshire from approximately 1968 to 1970 when my husband David and I took her to Heathrow Airport to start her new life in Canada. She was kind and thoughtful and meticulous in whatever she did - making me unpick much of my sewing to get it just right. She returned to England in 1971 to attend our wedding with a beautiful cake decoration for our special day. We have kept in touch regularly over the years and I have many happy memories of our time together. May God bless and comfort all who are close to her.

I first met Brigid when she came to work at the Lincolnshire River Authority in Boston as a secretary. We all worked in the typing pool and I have many happy memories of our time together. She was a very talented seamstress and made some amazing clothes. I have not seen Brigid since she left England but we have always kept in touch via Christmas and Birthday cards carrying all our news. She used to give me tips for using my computer but she was much cleverer than I could ever be. My husband Peter and I think of her often and treasure our memories of a dear friend.
